Day 1: Flight to Siem Reap

Board your flight to Siem Reap. Overnight on the plane.

Day 2: Arrival in Siem Reap

Arrive in Siem Reap, where your guide will meet you and transfer you to a centrally located hotel. Check-in begins at 2 PM. Spend the rest of the day resting or exploring the city on your own. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3: Ta Prohm – Banteay Srei – Pre Rup

Start your day with a short drive to the countryside to meet a Khmer family. Learn how they make traditional sugar and participate in a cooking session to prepare a Cambodian meal. After lunch, visit Banteay Srei, the “Citadel of Women,” renowned for its intricate pink sandstone carvings. End the day at Pre Rup Temple, a stunning 10th-century structure. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 4: Beng Melea – Kampong Khleang

Begin with a visit to Angkor Wat, an architectural marvel and UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore Angkor Thom, including Bayon Temple and the Terrace of the Elephants. In the afternoon, discover Beng Melea Temple, engulfed by nature, before taking a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake to experience life in a floating village. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 5: Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom

Journey to Phnom Penh, stopping to visit Kompong Kdei Bridge, Phum Prasat Temple, and local stone-carving workshops. End the day with a visit to the “Spider Market” in Skun. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 6: Siem Reap – Road to Phnom Penh

Dive into the city’s vibrant culture and history. Visit the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and National Museum. Learn about Cambodia’s tragic past at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. End the day shopping at the Russian Market. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 7: Phnom Penh – City Tour

Phnom Penh is a city of contrasts, offering both a relaxed and cosmopolitan atmosphere. From bustling markets to peaceful walks along the Tonle Sap River at sunset, the city surprises at every corner. Explore the capital of Cambodia, once the “Pearl of Indochina,” visiting the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum. Discover a darker period in history with a visit to the S21 Prison (Toul Sleng), a symbol of the atrocities committed during the Khmer Rouge regime. At Choeng Ek (the “Killing Fields”), explore the mass graves and an ossuary containing skulls. On the way back, stop at the Toul Tumpong Market (the “Russian Market”), a great place for souvenirs, handicrafts, and bargaining. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Phnom Penh – Kampot – Kep

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Kampot. Upon arrival, visit the salt marshes, a pepper plantation, and the Phnom Chhnouk Cave. Continue to Kep for an overnight stay. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Kep – Rabbit Island – Kep

Visit the Kep Crab Market early in the morning to see the boats returning with fresh seafood. Take photos with the iconic green crab statue, which welcomes visitors to Kep. Afterward, board a local sampan to Rabbit Island (Koh Tonsay) for exploration and relaxation in nature. Enjoy a swim in the sea and a traditional beachside massage. Return to Kep in the afternoon for free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Kep – Ha Tien – Phu Quoc

Early in the morning, visit the Kep Crab Market. Return to your hotel for breakfast. Then, transfer to the Cambodia-Vietnam border at Prek Chak, where your driver will take you to the Ha Tien pier for the boat to Phu Quoc. Upon arrival in Phu Quoc, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 11 – 13: Phu Quoc – Free Day at the Beach

Free day for personal exploration (no guide or driver). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Phu Quoc – Rach Gia – Can Tho

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until transfer with the hotel driver to the pier in Phu Quoc for the boat to Rach Gia, where you will meet your guide. Proceed to Can Tho for hotel check-in. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 15: Can Tho – Tra On – Mang Thit

After breakfast, free time until transfer to Can Tho pier. Board the boat, enjoy a welcome drink, introduction to the boat and crew, and settle into your cabins. Depart downstream on the Bassac River. Lunch will be served on board during the journey. Take a tour around the Tra On floating market. The Bassac continues along the Nicolai Canal towards the Mang Thit River and the Co Chien River. Relax on the deck and enjoy the view of rice fields, sugarcane plantations, and wooded banks. In the afternoon, the Bassac anchors for a visit ashore: a simple exploration of peaceful rural life, rice paddies, fruit trees, and welcoming farmers. Reboard the boat for a drink as you return on board. Relax on the deck or by a drink to enjoy the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac navigates the Mang Thit River, anchoring for the night. The Bassac will anchor overnight on the Mang Thit River.

Day 16: Mang Thit – Cai Be – Saigon

At 6:30 AM, depart for Cai Be. Enjoy breakfast while taking in the scenery along the riverbanks.
The Bassac crosses the Co Chien River upstream and enters the Cho Lach Canal for 30 minutes, passing rice and sand barge traffic, fruit-drying facilities, and boatyards. Arrive near Cai Be, check out of the cabins, and transfer by rowboat for a peaceful tour of a small canal. Meet a local boat that will take you ashore for a visit to the Cai Be craft village. The services end mid-morning on land in Cai Be. Drive with the driver to Saigon. Free time and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 17: Saigon – City Tour – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a guided city tour passing by the Saigon River, the old colonial district, Ton Duc Thang Avenue, and Nguyen Hue Boulevard (formerly Charner Boulevard). Continue exploring the Cho Lon district, Binh Tay market, the Thien Hau Temple, and Ngoc Hoang Pagoda – one of the oldest pagodas in the city. Return to the city center to visit the Museum of Vietnamese Traditional Medicine (FITO Museum), the Independence Palace, and finally, Ben Thanh market. Overnight at the hotel. Afterward, transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your departure flight. Rooms available until noon.
